1932 saw the founding of Valley Sheet Metal Works by Gustave Taffe. As a result of the company's growth and reputation for high-quality work, Gus and his son-in-law were able to acquire the Reilly-Duerr Tank Company in 1950. The company's capabilities in tank design and construction were expanded by this acquisition, and they relocated to their current location in Cincinnati, Ohio, to accommodate growing demand. After the company was formed in 1955, Valley Metal Works was the new name.
Currently, Joe Rings, Fred Hoerst, and Jim Steinbeck are the owners of Valley Metal Works, which employs 34 people.
