Extrusion

Extrusion is a process used to create objects with a fixed cross-sectional profile where the material is pushed or pulled through a die with the desired cross-section. The two main advantages of this process over other manufacturing processes are its ability to create very complex cross-sections and to work with brittle (brittle) materials as the material is only subjected to compression and friction stresses. It also forms parts with an excellent surface finish.
