For a given capacity demand, our idea is to employ smaller tools with fewer cavities. In the past, MCM has often replaced its tooling with half as many cavities while maintaining its competitiveness with the former molder. It is easier to balance the runner and create a more faultless and repeatable operation when there are fewer cavities, as we have discovered.
