Irwin Auman established the business in 1947 alongside his wife Betty; it was a true partnership. Irwin grew his company by addressing the problems of his clients. He honed a sharp skill for milling castings, particularly alloy steel castings like those used in the M60 Tank. The company established painting facilities and obtained welding certification in order to complete this job in accordance with all specifications. He overcame the monthly obstacles of producing up to 120 sets of fully machined and painted louvre castings for more than thirty years.
