The elevator industry was the company's primary focus at first. Art Petrauskis, the company's creator, was employed as a sales manager for an elevator company in the early 1980s. The foundation of its activities was the conviction that the elevator industry will never undergo modifications. But Art had read about historic building restorations, and he believed that philosophy was wrong. He left that company to launch his own venture after spotting a gap in the market and testing his notion.
