William Smith and William Yingling established SAY Plastics, Inc. in 1986 at the request of Westinghouse Elevator (Schindler Elevator), Caterpillar, and Black & Decker since their previous supplier was no longer providing the kind of service they had come to expect. SAY Plastics has offered heavy gauge vacuum forming and fabrication solutions since the beginning.
Eventually time, important clients and plastics processing were added. In an effort to refocus the business on its core skill of heavy gauge thermoforming, a blow molding plant was introduced and successfully launched to service Hanover's local snack food industries.
Louis Smith, the company's longest-serving employee and William's son, was named president and visionary in 2004. Louis's leadership allowed us to experience tremendous expansion and we added a
