About Company
Founded in 1975 by Robert G. Graf, American Mine Research, Inc. (AMR) was established to improve mining safety through continuity-type ground monitors. Today, AMR supports over 40,000 ground monitor circuits worldwide.
Over the years, the company has expanded beyond high- and low-voltage ground monitors to offer a comprehensive range of monitoring and control electronics. These products are designed to enhance safety and productivity across surface and underground mining, aggregates, and general industries.
AMR’s portfolio now includes atmospheric monitoring systems, wireless tracking and communication solutions, vacuum circuit breaker systems, and speed and level sensors. The company is headquartered in Rocky Gap, Virginia, where it operates from a modern 40,000 sq. ft. facility shared with its sister company, East River Metals.
